About The Waiting Room

The Waiting Room believes healing is holy — and survivors deserve a sacred space to rest, be seen, and be made whole. Founded on the principles of faith, restoration, and radical love, our mission is to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to women and families who have endured domestic violence.

We are not just a nonprofit — we are a refuge. A place where survivors can exhale, rebuild their identity in Christ, and walk boldly into the future God has written for them. Inspired by Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” — we exist to hold space in the in-between: between heartbreak and hope, between survival and freedom.

Through Christ-centered mentorship, advocacy, resources, and community, we walk alongside each woman on her journey toward safety, stability, and purpose.
